Helpful Hints – Pearls of Wisdom from Abroad

One of the many great things about traveling is experiencing new cultures and traditions. Here I have begun a collection of life hacks  from abroad.

“You don’t put milk in coffee, that is what cappuccinos are for” – Italy

Milk and caffeine are digested at different rates and therefore should not be mixed casually in coffee. Cappuccinos however, are generally considered to be only a morning beverage, and should not be ordered with lunch. Oops.

“Sparkling, sealed or flat?” – Italy

Water should never be limited to just coming from the tap

“Gelato with one flavour isn’t on the menu” – Italy

I am a huge fan of this advice. Why would you only order one flavour when you can have two?
